Animation
Animation is a medium that I've enjoyed since I was a kid. From works by Disney and Nickelodeon as a kid, to indie studios and Mappa as an adult. I've always admired how so many animated shows, music videos, or movies I watched had such charming art styles, as well as clever humor and great storytelling on top of that. My animations take inspiration from the different media I've grown up with, which is mainly American, Indian and Japanese animated movies/TV shows. However, I've explored animated content from more than just those countries, and would like for my overall style to be more of a melting pot of those cultures' than it already is. I currently post my animations on TikTok and Twitter/X.
For fans of the game Honkai Star Rail, the name "March 7th" is more likely to be associated with the game's pink-haired mascot. To celebrate the date, I made an animated music video to the song "Freely Tomorrow" by the Vocaloid producer Mitchie M. The song tackles feelings of love, hope, and reflecting on oneself, which are emotions I heavily associate with the character of March 7th.
To celebrate 2025, I made a frame by frame animation of the character Sunday from Honkai Star Rail to the song "Kanpai Funk" by Akiko Wada. The animation was to celebrate both the new year and Sunday's release as a playable character in the game, as it played alongside an upbeat song about letting loose and celebrating life with friends.
For Halloween this year (2025), I decided to do a scene by scene animation using a clip of Kevin Hart and "The Rock" as an audio. The animation pokes fun at the characters Aglaea and Anaxa from Honkai Star Rail, and their in-game disagreements with one another.
